Muhamed is a qualified social worker with a degree in Social Work from the University of Johannesburg. He holds an active registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa. His practice is registered with Board of Health Funders as a statutory requirement for professional social workers in private practice. He has acquired over 25 years of therapeutic experience within environments such as institutions, rehabilitation centres and private individual practice. He has for many years managed and co-ordinated teams of therapeutic professionals to provide safe, attentive, non-judgemental and empathic care to cohorts of patients.  

Muhamed has been married to his wife Ridwa for close onto 30 years. They are parents to four wonderful children. Two of their children are married and employed within the fields of education, whilst two are of school going age which keep them young and on their toes. Muhamed is uniquely placed to understand well the challenges that young and old from diverse backgrounds face today.
